Moore Kingston Smith names Jonathan Roberts as partner

Jonathan Roberts has joined the general practice team of Moore Kingston Smith. The new partner brings more than 15 years of expertise to the role.

The London wing of Moore in the UK, Moore Kingston Smith is celebrating a milestone 100 years in business throughout 2023. With over 70 partners and more than 700 people based in and around London, the company has come a long way in the 100 years since its launch – and as it looks ahead to the next century, it has been appointing a number of new experts to grow its capabilities.

Jonathan Roberts joins as a partner in Moore Kingston Smith’s general practice team.

Guiding entrepreneurial businesses and their owners among the London and Thames Valley community, the team focuses on managing high-quality audits across UK companies, international groups, and their subsidiaries. In his new role, Roberts will work with owner-managed and private equity-backed businesses, identifying risk and compliance gains for his clients.

Bringing more than 17 years of experience at BDO to the firm, Roberts has predominantly worked across the technology, retail, leisure, hospitality and travel, and fast-moving consumer goods sectors.

As businesses increasingly expand globally, his knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and relevant financial statement disclosure requirements will be an asset for clients, and he is adept in assisting overseas groups with their UK-based subsidiaries, offering international and group reporting solutions.
