Paul Cowper re-joins Kantar as Senior Partner
Paul Cowper is re-joining Kantar as a Senior Partner in the firm’s business consulting practice. Amy Cashman stated, “It is great to have Paul back on board as we pursue opportunities in our new and established sectors.”
Cashman, who is the CEO of Kantar’s Insights Division in the UK and Ireland, continued,“Businesses are operating in ever more competitive markets, making relevant and actionable insight absolutely crucial to guide their decisions. Paul’s expertise makes him the ideal person to have in the team as we help clients navigate dynamic markets.”
The start of the year is an especially challenging time for brands to win a share of consumers’ wallets. Going into 2022, this has been exacerbated by steep inflation, a boom in the cost of living, and heightened energy prices – meaning many households face a squeeze on their budgets.
Using the business’ extensive understanding of human behaviour, Kantar’s Consulting practice supports brands to identify opportunities for growth, even in this tightening market. The firm also helps clients develop their go-to-market strategies and build marketing plans to increase sales and ultimately boost profitability. The team blends consulting skills with the breadth and depth of data and analysis available across Kantar, giving a fully rounded view of customer journeys, as well as clients’ strengths, weaknesses and overall commercial performance.
Paul Cowper is a highly experienced and trusted advisor to brands in the food, alcohol and technology sectors. Over the course of a 25-year career, he has married his brand planning experience with a thorough understanding of consumer habits and how people think, feel and make choices to provide commercial guidance to clients.
As a Senior Partner with Kantar, Cowper will lend his knowhow to support clients through post-pandemic recovery and growth planning. He previously spent a decade of his career with Kantar, most recently as a Brand Director in its added value service line. He left for marketing firm Flamingo in 2019, and spent the last two years as a Managing Partner with the firm.
