Consultancies named as best workplaces in technology

A new list of top workplaces for tech in the UK has named 14 consultancies among the leading firms. The firms in the list were praised for their positive employee experience, and support for staff amid the pandemic.

Great Place to Work is an organisation which has conducted research into what makes a great workplace since 2000. According to the site, a great workplace is one where employees feel valued and trusted, have a sense of purpose, and are proud of what they do and who they work for. Top employers also focus on trusting, listening to and caring for their employees, with employee wellbeing being high on the agenda; effective leadership and line management, and a strong culture aligned to a strong business strategy, are also important.

In a focused due diligence on UK employers in the technology sector, Great Place to Work concluded that a select group of employers can call themselves one of the UK’s best workplaces. Among them are 14 players from the consulting industry.

Consultancies named as best UK workplaces in tech

The list includes many of the largest firms involved in technology consulting in the UK. Firms such as FTI Consulting, CGI and Verisk top the roll-call. However, there is also plenty of room devoted to smaller firms and mid-sized firms, such as Mason Advisory.
