Rene Schuster joins Elixirr as Partner in London
Engineering and consulting industry veteran Rene Schuster has joined Elixirr’s partner team. Schuster brings more than three decades of experience to the firm, and will help Elixirr prepare clients for challenging market conditions.
Elixirr CEO Stephen Newton said of the news, “We’re thrilled to welcome Rene to our team. His proven track record leading and advising global companies will bring incredible value to our clients, and further us in our mission to be the best consulting firm in the world.”
As Elixirr looks to continue strengthening its services on multiple fronts, the diverse career experience of London based Schuster will be a major help. With more than 25 years of executive experience at C-suite level, he brings knowhow from industries including global telecommunications, IT, media, healthcare and retail.
Having spent three years as a Managing Partner at KPMG and five years as Senior Vice President with Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s consulting and enterprise wing, Schuster’s consulting expertise includes advisory, business growth, strategic planning, go-to-market strategy, and customer data monetisation. At the same time, spells with companies including VirtualStock (where he is still Chairman of the Board), Telefonica, and Vodafone have seen him help businesses plan and execute urgent performance improvements, and accelerated digital transformations. One project saw him lead the largest IPO in Europe during his time at Telefonica in 2012 – helping establish O2 as the number one consumer communications brand in Germany.
Schuster reflected on his new challenge, “I’m excited to be joining a firm with such ferocious ambition and dynamic culture. I’m looking forward to helping drive the next phase of Elixirr’s growth story, working with our team and clients, both existing and new, to achieve success.”
Established in 2009, award-winning consultancy Elixirr has offices in the UK, the US, South Africa and Australia. The challenger consultancy has been enhancing its offering on multiple fronts in the last year. Late in 2020, Elixirr acquired digital marketing firm Coast Digital, while earlier in 2021 the firm strengthened its procurement offering with the addition of Retearn to its House of Brands.
