Duff & Phelps joins leading insolvency and restructuring alliance
INSOL International has admitted Duff & Phelps into its Group of 36, making the global consulting firm the twelfth tier one consultancy to join the leading industry alliance.
With over fourty member associations spanning 10,500 professionals globally, INSOL International is one of the world’s leading associations for restructuring and insolvency professionals. Its network consists of accountants, bankers, consultants and lawyers.
The London-headquartered federation influences global restructuring and insolvency practice and policy, supports thought leadership and knowledge sharing, and supports practice development. INSOL’s Group of 36 consists of thirty six companies that support the federation’s activities and advocacy, through financial support and the delivery of expert insights.
With the backing of the partners, INSOL has released number of high-profile standards and reports for insolvency professionals, including its ‘Principles and Guidelines for Effective Insolvency Systems’ (in collaboration with the World Bank) and its ‘Report on Efficiency Insolvency Procedures’ (in collaboration with the IMF).
Duff & Phelps becomes the twelfth consulting firm with a track record in the insolvency space to now join the Group of 36, alongside counterparts AlixPartners, Alvarez & Marsal, BDO, Deloitte, EY, FTI Consulting, Grant Thornton, Huron, KPMG, PwC and RSM. Most other members are law firms.
Commenting on being admitted into the network, Paul Clark, Managing Director and Head of the Global Restructuring Advisory practice at Duff & Phelps, said: “It is an honour to be part of the G36, which leads the global charge for restructuring, turnaround and insolvency best practices. This is a true testament to the high-quality restructuring work we do at Duff & Phelps, and I look forward to the many contributions we will make to INSOL.”
