Andy Marsden to lead Duff & Phelps business modelling team
Duff & Phelps has named Andy Marsden as the new leader of its business modelling and analytics team in London.
Commenting on the news, Marsden said, “I’m very excited to be joining Duff & Phelps… I’m looking forward to working with clients across EMEA to drive innovation across the business.”
Marsden joins Duff & Phelps as a Managing Director, and will now work to build out its business modelling and analytics team. The practice supports clients across a wide range of strategic decisions including buy- and sell-side transactions, restructuring, financial and operational planning and the raising of finance.
Marsden brings more than 20 years of professional services experience, having working for Big Four firm EY over the last two decades. Over the most recent 16 years of that stay, he came to specialise in business modelling, and was latterly an Associate Partner in EY’s Strategy and Transactions practice, leading the financial services business modelling team.
Duff & Phelps is one of the country's leading providers of financial advisory and dealmaking services. Marsden’s knowhow will support the firm’s clients across all sectors with a variety of aspects including developing transaction models to support buy-side and sell-side deals, and applying data analytics as part of transaction diligence and business strategy design.
Mathias Schumacher, Managing Director for valuation services at Duff & Phelps said, “We are delighted to have Andy onboard. We have seen an increase in demand for business modelling and analytics services across the EMEA region and as a result we are further expanding our team to ensure we are at the forefront, providing innovative solutions for our clients.”
Duff & Phelps is a global consultancy specialised in valuation, M&A advisory, taxation and transfer pricing, risk, governance, and disputes, among others. It is currently transitioning its branding to Kroll, a company it acquired in 2018, meaning it currently refers to itself as ‘Duff & Phelps, A Kroll Business.’
