Global technology and management consultancy Capco has appointed of Alla Gancz as a new Partner in the firm. Gancz will serve as the consultancy’s new Head of Digital for the UK.
Capco’s UK Digital practice builds solutions for people and organisations through a multi-disciplinary approach to innovation. Drawing on its team’s experience around product strategy, design, engineering, solutions architecture and intelligent automation, Capco helps clients achieve their digital ambitions, accelerate transformations, map new ways of working and implement modern delivery practices across the enterprise.
One example of Capco’s digital work recently saw the consultancy team up with financial education provider MyBnk to launch a new app teaching children to understand basic elements of personal finance. ‘Money Twist – My Choices’ aims to gamify learning about money with a range of digital challenges aimed at children under 12 years old.As Capco looks to strengthen its digital arm – ahead of a period of major economic realignment where businesses will place more importance on clients’ technological offerings than ever before – the firm has appointed a new Head of Digital to its UK wing. Alla Gancz brings extensive domain expertise and knowledge of new digital technologies and FinTech – while her specific areas of focus include redesigning the customer experience and end-to-end digitalisation through better use of emerging technologies.
Mike Ethelston, UK Managing Partner at Capco, said, “Alla’s experience working with business and technology stakeholders to transform customer experiences and reinvent operating models will be invaluable… The sudden enforced shift to a virtual marketplace means that the digital aspirations of financial institutions have never been more urgent or business critical. Working closely with their colleagues across our different domain practices, our Digital team can provide the tools; support and strategic guidance that firms need to reorient their businesses.”
Prior to joining Capco, Gancz spent more than a decade leading and delivering digital transformation programmes, and enterprise-wide strategic engagements, in the financial services sector. Most recently, Gancz was Digital Transformation Lead, Financial Services Europe at Infosys, having also held leadership roles at Wipro Digital, Genworth Financial, Mastercard and American Express. A champion of diversity and inclusion, she is also a member of the Women in Business and Women in Tech networks, and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
Commenting on her new challenge, Gancz remarked, “Our UK Digital team is taking a leading role as firms look to adapt and enhance their services and capabilities during this period of intense disruption. It goes without saying that Covid-19 has driven home the importance of customer-centricity, agility, resilience and efficiency within financial services. Our designers, engineers and strategists are ideally placed to help our clients shape and execute digital enablement programmes and embrace new ways of working.”
