Angela Fox joins consulting firm Q5 from Barclays
International transformation advisory firm Q5 has welcomed a new Principal to its London office, as it prepares to build on its fast-growing momentum in 2020. Angela Fox arrives from Barclays, and specialises in complex problem-solving and digital transformation work.
As a specialist organisational design and transformation consultancy, Q5 focuses on helping clients align their structures, people and processes with their strategy, enabling them to be faster and more flexible, and generating greater value in the process. The firm now has offices in London, Leeds, Hong Kong, Melbourne, New York and Sydney.
As it plans for its next phase of expansion, Q5 has committed to appointments across its UK operations. In mid-2019, the firm appointed Sheila Fitzsimons as its new Head of its Public Sector wing. Now, the consultancy has commenced 2020 with another appointment – this time of Angela Fox as a Principal in its London office. Fox specialises in cost reduction, customer experience design, measurement and optimisation.
A transformation director who states on her LinkedIn that she “thrives on solving complex customer problems,” Fox arrives at Q5 having built up 15 years of banking and data science expertise. Prior to her latest role, she spent eight years with Barclays and its subsidiary Barclaycard, most recently as a Programme Director in the Barclaycard & Barclayloan department. Before that, Fox spent seven years with Vertex Data Science, where she latterly held the role of Chief of Staff.
Launched during the world’s worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, Q5 Partners first opened for business in 2009. The group thought they could help businesses better respond to the challenges confronting them, with benefits that lasted beyond the four quarters of the financial year, into the fifth quarter, or 'Q5', which the company derives its name from. The consultancy has grown rapidly since, and now works for clients across several industries, providing media, financial services, retail, professional services and government consulting services.
As the firm celebrated its 10th year in business, last year it was named as the only member of the consulting industry to be honoured by the Queen's Awards for Enterprise. Being lauded in the International Trade category, the firm picked up the prize for Outstanding Short Term Growth in overseas sales over the last three years.
