9 consulting firms in best Think Tanks of the globe
The Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program (TTCSP), one of the leading global institutions that monitors the quality of impact of publications, has recently released its latest ‘Global Go To Think Tank Index’. The index presents the ‘best’ research organizations across a wide variety of fields, ranging from economic policy to national security and governance. The list of top 30 private-sector Think Tanks includes 9 management consulting firms.
On an annual basis think tanks produce hundreds of thousands of policy documents, reports and points of view. To come to an index the TTCSP asked more than 2.000 scholars, journalists, policymakers and think tank directors to judge the quality of publications. In addition, 1,950 functional specialists served as expert panelists. The nearly 4.000 reviewers based their scores on a large number of criteria, including volume, quality and impact of publications, the quality of employees, media reputation and access to key institutions plus leading government officials / private sector officials.
According to the organization, nearly 7.000 public sector and private sector think tanks are active across the globe. The majority of these are based in North America and Europe. Thought leadership market leaders are the U.S, followed by China and the United Kingdom. The US-based Brookings Institution can call itself the best private sector Think Tanks of the globe.
