International consultancy Duff & Phelps has appointed a new Managing Director in its restructuring practice. Ben Collett joins a growing team of senior professionals offering advisory services for corporates across Europe and globally.

While the UK economy continues to languish in a sustained period of slow growth, a succession of high-street closures and a floundering casual dining scene looks set to continue well into 2019. With the conclusion of the Brexit saga due in just four weeks, further turbulence across a multitude of British markets is all but guaranteed in the coming period, and with it, a ramping up of demand for restructuring services offered by consulting firms across the country.

Duff & Phelps is a global advisory firm which aims to help clients protect, restore and maintain the value of their company, and as such is well positioned to take advantage of a growing need for corporate rescue work. In order to bolster its UK restructuring practice, the firm has announced that Ben Collett has joined the firm as a Managing Director. The role will see Collett work across the firm’s Birmingham, Manchester and London offices, focusing on providing advisory services to corporate clients across the UK and Europe.
