31 March 2015 Consultancy.uk

Minoc Media Services, a Benelux-based publisher with a focus on IT and technology, has released the 2015 finalists of its annual Smart Business Awards. More than 100 firms providing IT-related services in the region have been nominated across eight categories, including more than 20 IT consulting firms.

With a range of online and offline IT titles in the Benelux and also further abroad – such as ZDNet, PC Magazine and Smart Business Strategies – Minoc Media Services is one of the larger publishers in mainland Europe that focuses exclusively on the IT industry. Every year the platform organises the ‘Smart Business Awards’, a competition that recognises excellent client service in the ICT industry. Based on market research and the views of an independent jury panel, IT firms are shortlisted across five main industry segments.

Software - Hardware - Services & Outsourcing - Security - Telecom & Communication

In the ‘Services & Outsourcing’ segment, the organisers differentiate between eight categories: Cloud & Mobile innovator | Applications | Workplace | Integration  & Infrastructure | Datacenter | Hosting & domain | Staffing and Outsourcing & Services. In total more than 100 IT services firms have been shortlisted, including big names such as Apple, IBM and Google, and IT consultancies such as Accenture, Atos, CGI, Capgemini, Ordina and Tata Consultancy Services. In the coming months the jury panel will review the entries of the finalists. In addition to a jury’s vote, readers of ZDNet.be and Smartbiz.be will be able to vote on their favourite IT services firms. Based on the joint input, a winner and a runner-up will be selected for each of the eight categories.
