Consulting firm Enlightened selects 5W as PR Agency of Record
Enlightened, a US based management and IT consultancy, has selected 5W Public Relations as its PR Agency of Record. With the support of 5W, one of US’s largest PR firms, Enlightened aims at growing into the commercial space, with a key focus on cyber security.
Award winning professional services firm Enlightened provides cybersecurity, IT and management solutions for clients including federal, state, and local government agencies. The US-based consultancy currently holds GSA IT-70 and MOBIS schedule contracts, HUBZone and Small-Business-certified by the US Small Business Administration. Earlier this year, Enlightened received the prestigious 2016 Nunn-Perry award from the US Department of Defence (DoD), and was named as one of Fortune's 100 Fastest-Growing Inner City Companies.
However, while the firm is enjoying success consulting in the public sector, Enlightened remain keen to grow into the private sphere, with the current upward spike in interest surrounding cybersecurity presenting them with an opportunity to grow operations into new territory. Total costs from cyberattacks last year hit an estimated $400 billion, while the figure came in at an estimated $280 billion for businesses globally.
According to Antwanye Ford, President and CEO of Enlightened, the firm have focused for almost two decades on delivering results for the federal and local governments – however, this is the right time to seek new challenges. In order to help achieve that ambition, Enlightened have selected 5W Public Relations, ranked as one of the 15 largest independently owned PR firms in the US, as the consultancy’s PR Agency of Record. As with Enlightened, 5WPR's roster encompasses clients from government organisations, but also includes leading technology start-ups and businesses. 5WPR's assorted roster of client experience includes Unilever, Walgreens, Payoneer, Sparkling ICE, Wendy Williams, Jetsmarter, Zeta Global and RxAdvance, among others. 5WPR will now be tasked with marketing Enlightened’s extensive public sector experience to private sector clients.
