Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice
The new hires join BCG as Partners and Managing Directors in the firm’s Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice – launched last year. The additions add more than 30 years of financial advisory experience to the practice, with the market for both PE and M&A activity expected to remain hot into the coming year on the back of strong fundamentals. The new partners are tasked with advising global investment firm clients on due diligence and post-close transformation across sectors and asset classes. Perkins is based in the West Coast city of Los Angeles, and Carter the East Coast city of New York.
Tawfik Hammoud, the Global Leader of the PIPE practice, says, “John and Christy – with their track records in advising senior business leaders, coupled with their deep industry knowledge – are terrific additions not only to our PIPE practice but also to BCG as a whole.”
Perkins’ remarks, “It is my singular privilege to contribute to serving clients of the fast-growing PIPE practice, and it is my pleasure to be doing so in the company of many dedicated and collaborative colleagues. I am thrilled to join BCG and am looking forward to lending my experience and expertise to a suite of world-class clients.”
