Four consulting firms named top M&A advisor 2014

Consulting firms Deloitte, EY, PwC and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants have been recognised as top M&A advisors by M&A platform Mergermarket. EY managed to secure two awards, while Deloitte, PwC and Roland Berger each won one award.

On 11 December 2014, Mergermarket, an independent mergers and acquisitions intelligence and data platform, hosted its annual European M&A Awards, during which outstanding performances in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) are recognised and celebrated.

During the awards ceremony, held at The Savoy in London, awards were handed out in 16 categories, including M&A Deal of the Year, IPO of the Year, European Financial Adviser of the Year, Private Equity Financial Adviser of the Year, Mid-Market Legal Adviser of the Year, Public Relations Firm of the Year, Accountancy Firm of the Year, and M&A Consultancy of the Year. In the categories Legal Adviser of the Year and Financial Adviser of the Year winners were chosen per country*.

EY - Accountancy Firm of the Year & Financial Adviser of the Year – Central & Eastern Europe

PwC - Financial Adviser of the Year – Austria

Roland Berger Strategy Consultants - M&A Consultancy of the Year
