Laura Hardin Managing Director Alvarez & Marsal
Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has expanded its Global Forensic and Dispute Services team with the addition of Laura Hardin as Managing Director in Houston, an expert in global disputes.
Hardin is an international arbitration expert, and brings nearly 20 years of experience in business valuation, damages assessments, forensic accounting and consulting services in industries including oil and gas, power generation, telecoms and aviation. Hardin joins A&M’s fast-growing team of global investigations experts located at offices around the world, specialised in among others accounting investigations, employee misconduct, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, and competition.

Hardin joins A&M from Charles River Associates were she acted as Vice President for the past two years. Prior to that, she was the Managing Director at FTI Consulting for more than two years, and the two years before that Director at Navigant. She also held senior roles at UHY Advisors and PwC. During her career, she provided expert guidance on damage quantification, submitted evidence in international arbitration cases, and led billion dollar disputes with allegations of expropriation, shareholder disputes, breach of contract controversies and purchase price.
Hardin is a certified valuation analyst (CVA), and has an MBA degree from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from Wesleyan University.
