Sourcing specialist Source adds Steve Jeffree to team

UK advisory firm Source has expanded its senior team with Steve Jeffree, an experienced CIO. At the Oxford based consulting firm Jeffree will mainly focus on supporting the growth plans, as well as advising clients on a range of sourcing and IT matters.

Steve Jeffree has roughly 30 years of experience, of which he spent the overlarge majority working at the intersection of business and IT. Prior to his move to Source, Jeffree was Director at Business and IT advisory firm ALLsense, and COO for UCAS, where he was responsible for all aspects of Operational and Information Technology development and delivery. Before UCAS, Steve held operational and technology leadership roles in a number of blue chip companies; including The Law Society, BirdsEye Iglo, Dixons Group and TUI Travel.

Over the past years Jeffree has been recognised by several platforms as one of the UKs leading CIOs – one of the projects he led at UCAS was earlier this year recognised by the UK Cloud Awards as 'Cloud Project of the Year 2014', in addition Jeffree has been included in the 2014 edition of the ‘CIO 100’ ranking table published by CIO Magazine.

Last month, Jeffree decided to take on a new challenge and joined Source, a consulting firm that specialises in sourcing advisory. Since its establishment in 2010*, the firm has rapidly built a strong track record in the field, recently earning it a nomination – along with four rivals – for the ‘Outsourcing Advisory of the Year’ category of the National Outsourcing Awards. With Jeffree on board, Source expects to further boost its capabilities, says Eleanor Winn - Managing Partner at Source. “We are delighted to bring Steve into the team.
