Broadstone welcomes Ben Reyer and Josh Clark to team

Broadstone has announced two senior appointments to its UK team. The firm has welcomed Ben Reyer as a principal consultant, and Josh Clark as a senior consultant.

Broadstone is a leading, independent UK financial services consultancy delivering expert advice to employers, insurers, lenders and pension scheme trustees. The appointment mark the expansion of Broadstone’s health and risk propositions – as well as its employee benefits consulting division, which works with employers to design and deliver employee benefits strategies that support their staff.

Ben Reyer joins Broadstone as a principal consultant, arriving from Towergate Health & Protection – now Everywhen – where he has spent more than 15 years, most recently as business development manager within its business protection team. Developing a wealth of expertise throughout his two-decade career, advising clients on areas including shareholder protection, he also held senior roles at HSBC and HSBC Actuaries & Consultants.

In his new role at Broadstone, Reyer will draw on his experience to support the firm’s clients with their business protection needs, helping businesses identify and manage the risks that could affect their people, ownership structures and long-term resilience.

He commented, “I’m delighted to be joining Broadstone at such an exciting stage in its growth. The business has built a talented and dynamic team, alongside a strong reputation for the quality of its Health and Risk advice, and I’m looking forward to being part of that.”

Josh Clark meanwhile arrives as senior employee benefits consultant. He joins from Aon and moves into Broadstone’s risk and health team within its employee benefits consulting division, bringing more than 15 years of experience across the employee benefits and insurance sector.

He began his career as a business administration apprentice, before progressing into consulting and building extensive experience across the UK’s leading insurance and employee benefits brokers, including Lockton and Towergate.

In his new role at Broadstone, Clark will use his extensive experience in risk and health to support the firm’s clients with their employee benefits needs, helping organisations develop effective strategies to attract and retain talent while managing risk.

Clark added, “I’m excited to be joining Broadstone and starting the next chapter of my career with such an ambitious and growing business. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to Broadstone’s talented team, and to working with clients to help them navigate the evolving risk and health landscape.”
