Lindsey Wright joins Rural Solutions amid national planning team growth
Rural Solutions has appointed Lindsey Wright as associate director within its planning team. The move comes as the specialist land practice advisory bids to better support clients across East Anglia.

Based in Suffolk, Wright joins the national consultancy with more than a decade of strategic planning and development experience spanning both public and private sectors. Most recently, Wright was a consultant senior planning officer at South Norfolk and Broadland District Councils. Previously she also worked as a senior planning officer with Cotswold District Council, while in the private sector she served as project manager at Arcadia Planning and Development.
Founded in 1995, Rural Solutions is a professional practice specialising in rural land and property. Its mission is to work with owners and managers of rural land and property to help them with strategy, planning, design, management and development. Operating nationally from headquarters in North Yorkshire, the firm’s team includes consultants, planners, property development professionals, architects, landscape architects, analysts and researchers.
At Rural Solutions, Wright will lead planning projects across the East of England while supporting clients nationally as part of the firm’s multidisciplinary planning, architecture, landscape and consultancy teams. Her role will focus on delivering strategic planning advice, developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities in one of the UK’s most dynamic regions for rural development.

The appointment follows a period of sustained growth for Rural Solutions’ planning team, including the recent appointment of Simon Newall as associate director; and the promotions of James Ellis to director of planning and Shelley Jones to head of planning.
