Seda Babur and Peter Preisler join Oliver Wyman in UK
Oliver Wyman has added two senior members to its UK team. Seda Babur and Peter Preisler add close to six decades of experience between them to the strategy consultancy.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience to the firm, Seda Babur is a senior transformation leader, with deep expertise in technology enabled transformation in the financial services. She was most recently a partner for transformation and technology with Legal & General – having previously spent two decades at PwC, where she was latterly a partner in the firm’s financial services wing.
She joins Oliver Wyman as a partner in the insurance and asset management practice. This comes with a focus on technology transformation and AI adoption for clients.
Babur commented via a LinkedIn post, “After working more than 20 years advising and leading technology change across the insurance sector, I am super excited to continue working with clients on the topics that matter most: translating technology investments into measurable business value.”
Peter Preisler meanwhile joins Oliver Wyman as a senior advisor in the firm’s insurance and asset management practice. He brings four decades of experience in asset management and has led organisations through multiple market cycles, industry shifts, and changes in investor behaviour. With over three decades of pan-European experience, he has worked in financial services in Luxembourg, Singapore, France and the UK. Most recently, he spent seven years with Oaktree Capital Management, working as head of EMEA capital formation.
