CYPFER celebrates four years of new leadership
Since opening its doors, cyber security consultancy CYPFER has participated in a number of landmark partnerships. As the firm celebrates its fourth anniversary since its new ownership, it has looked back on what it has achieved so far.
Originally founded in 2019, CYPFER is an international cybersecurity consultancy. It offers services to help clients enjoy rapid recovery from attacks, while also supplying comprehensive protection strategies, and ongoing defence against the digital world’s evolving threats.
Four years ago, the business was taken over by Daniel Tobok. As the fourth anniversary since that relaunch passes, CYPFER has been looking back on a number of its other key milestones from that time.
“CYPFER was built on a simple belief,” a statement read on LinkedIn. “When organisations face a cyber incident, they need more than a vendor. They need a trusted partner who can help them recover quickly, confidently, and without compromise.”
To meet that gap in the market, CYPFER has grown into a global team supporting organisations, insurers, law firms, and critical infrastructure through some of the most complex cyber events in the world.
Among the eye-catching partnerships this adaptation has helped land, the firm announced a collaboration with heavyweight boxing legend Lennox Lewis in early 2025. The move saw CYPFER work with Lewis to provide digital protection strategies for high-profile sports figures, across their digital operations, brands and businesses.
Later, CYPFER followed this up with a similar coup, teaming up with music producer Jeff Timmons. The firm said it was working with Timmons – a founding member of US pop group 98 Degrees – to deliver digital protection to his projects across entertainment and technology.
Continuing into 2026, CYPFER was picked by security solutions firm Bitdefender, plumping for CYPFER as its trusted digital forensics and incident response provider. This collaboration ensures that organisations using Bitdefender technologies have direct access to CYPFER’s incident response and recovery expertise when cyber-attacks occur.
Looking ahead from such important developments, the consultancy concluded, “This milestone is not just about growth. It is about the people behind it. The team members who work tirelessly, support clients under pressure, travel onsite when needed, and genuinely care about helping organisations through difficult moments.”
Tobok also took to LinkedIn to mark the occasion. He thanked the clients who have trusted and stuck with the consultancy, as well as the CYPFER leaders and team.
He added, “What makes me the most proud today is not the growth or the scale of what CYPFER has become. It is the people behind it. Watching this team grow, watching leaders emerge, seeing the commitment, passion, and heart that people bring every single day is what continues to drive me forward.”
