Jeff Timmons enlists CYPFER to safeguard digital projects

Global cybersecurity consultancy CYPFER has announced a new partnership with music producer Jeff Timmons. The firm will work to deliver digital protection to Timmons’ projects across entertainment and technology.
In recent years, musicians and influencers have increasingly become targets of cyberattacks, including data leaks, ransomware incidents, and online impersonation. Many have turned to cybersecurity experts in response, seeking help in safeguarding their art and projects from hackers.
One such musician is Jeff Timmons – a founding member of US pop group 98 Degrees – who has sought out the assistance of CYPFER to that end. Timmons’ career spans decades, with global hits, sold-out tours, and television appearances. But he is also an entrepreneur, embracing emerging platforms and content creation technologies to create new business models.
This latter aspect of Timmons’ career comes a heightened risk of cyber intrusion including intellectual property theft to personal data breaches. But through CYPFER’s tailored cybersecurity solutions, the firm says Timmons is able to proactively secure his expanding digital footprint.
“Jeff represents a unique intersection of artistry and innovation,” commented Daniel Tobok, CEO of CYPFER. “From chart-topping tracks to forward-thinking tech initiatives, Jeff’s digital presence is multifaceted and valuable. Our mission is to deliver Cyber Certainty™—to shield creatives like Jeff from the evolving threats targeting public figures in the digital era.”
Founded in 2019, CYPFER is an international cybersecurity consultancy. It offers services to help clients enjoy rapid recovery from attacks, while also supplying comprehensive protection strategies, and ongoing defence against the digital world’s evolving threats.
“As an artist and entrepreneur, I’m constantly creating, sharing, and building—mostly in digital spaces,” said Jeff Timmons. “The reality is, everything we do today lives online. Working with CYPFER gives me the confidence that my music, projects, and business ventures are secured against cyber threats. As I continue pushing creative boundaries, I don’t want to worry about digital vulnerabilities,” Timmons added. “CYPFER brings peace of mind so I can focus on doing what I love—innovating and entertaining.”
Timmons is the latest celebrity to seek the support of CYPFER. Earlier in the year, the firm also confirmed heavyweight boxing legend Lennox Lewis as a client. CYPFER will work with Lewis to provide digital protection strategies for high-profile sports figures, across their digital operations, brands and businesses.
