RCK Partners taps industry expert Paul Rosser as new partner
Paul Rosser has joined RCK Partners, as it looks to strengthen its research and development software consulting capability. Sophie Spells, CEO of RCK Partners, commented that his “his extensive experience and reputation” means the partnership is built on a “recognised strong alignment”.
Spells added, “Paul’s focus on technical precision and doing the right thing for clients aligns closely with how we work at RCK, and we’re delighted to be working with him as we continue to support innovative businesses in claiming R&D tax credits.”
RCK Partners is a specialist tax advisory firm focused on helping clients to access R&D tax credits. Its new appointment reflects the firm’s continued investment in experienced practitioners who can support large, more complex businesses and enhance the depth of expertise across its tax incentives offering. It also follows a period of continued momentum for RCK Partners, as the firm expands its senior capabilities to meet growing client demand across innovation-led and technology-driven sectors.
Looking ahead, Rosser will focus on R&D tax credit software consulting while also representing RCK Partners more broadly across the wider market. As the founder of R&D Consulting and having worked in R&D tax relief, IT and digital forensics over the last two decades, he is widely recognised for his deep technical knowledge and principled approach to advising on complex claims. He will draw on experience having supported a wide range of companies while also playing a key role in uncovering instances of fraud in the R&D tax advisory space.
Speaking on his new role, Rosser remarked, “At a time when scrutiny of R&D claims is increasing, it’s more important than ever to work with firms that put compliance first and foremost. After speaking with Sophie, it became very apparent that R&D claim compliance is RCK’s number one priority. This, combined with the opportunity to support larger, more complex clients, made this a clear decision for me. I look forward to working with RCK alongside continuing to work for my current firm, R&D Consulting Ltd, as well as the ongoing investigative and reporting work I do.”
