RCK Partners expands R&D tax credits offering to Ireland
Tax consultancy RCK Partners has expanded into Ireland. The research and development tax relief firm is looking to respond to rising demand for R&D tax support among Irish businesses.
On the expansion, CEO James Gibson said, “Due to our existing success with the UK marketplace, we always had ambitions to grow the business geographically. RCK Partners is a firm of chartered tax advisers, specialising in tax-advisory services for businesses including R&D tax relief, capital allowances, business rates, patent box, land remediation and enquiry resolution services. At present, the firm says it is experiencing a rise in demand for its R&D services in both the UK and Ireland.
Ireland has what many professional services sector leaders would call a strong R&D investment climate – linked to a low rate of corporate tax that has attracted large technology and consulting firms like Accenture to list there. And amid slow growth in the UK – mixed with uncertainty around whether tax rises may be on the horizon – many UK-based firms are now using Ireland as stepping stone to the EU, and Europe’s innovation hubs.
The move to launch operations in Ireland will allow RCK to support Irish based businesses to meet their ambitions by providing them with true specialist R&D tax credit expertise, as well as better serving existing client demands for those who have a presence in Ireland and clients operating across multiple geographies.
RCK’s Irish business operations will be led by Kirsten Winsryg, an R&D management accountant, whose expertise will support the launch of RCK into the market with a focus on R&D consulting services.
