Saffery welcomes four senior hires to corporate tax team
National accounting and advisory firm Saffery has strengthened its Tax team with four senior hires.
Kate Huggett, Phoebe Hindlet, Robert John and Evan Tuck have all joined the firm over the past few weeks, adding depth to Saffery’s capability across corporate tax advisory, compliance, transfer pricing, and tax technology.
Kate Huggett brings extensive experience advising corporate groups, international clients and owner-managed businesses on UK corporate tax matters, including restructurings, transactions and ongoing advisory support. Her main focus is on clients in the real estate sector.
Phoebe Hindlet advises businesses on complex capital allowances matters, combining her in-depth technical tax knowledge with practical construction and cost analysis expertise to deliver HMRC-compliant capital allowances claims.
Robert John brings over 15 years of experience delivering technology-enabled tax solutions for complex organisations, most recently as Global Head of Tax Technology Transformation at Diageo.
Evan Tuck specialises in transfer pricing. He has technical expertise in transfer pricing design, documentation and dispute resolution, supporting multinational groups in managing tax risk and meeting international compliance requirements.
Founded in 1855, Saffery is the UK’s 15th largest accountancy-origin professional services firm by fee income. The firm supports its clients with accountancy, audit, business advisory, tax and VAT services.
Sean McGinness, National Tax for Partner, said that the senior hires form part of the firm’s ambitious plans to double the size of its tax services to businesses by 2029. “We’ve set ourselves ambitious targets for the growth of our tax services to corporates. High calibre people like Kate, Phoebe, Rob and Evan bring a depth of experience that will be invaluable to clients as they navigate ongoing change, technological disruption and heightened demands.”
