Michelle Bryan joins PKF Smith Cooper in its tax advisory team
Michelle Bryan has joined PKF Smith Cooper as a senior tax manager. She brings over 20 years of knowledge and expertise to the team.
With operations in Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Ashbourne, PKF Smith Cooper is the Midlands-based business of PKF, which is one of the world’s largest accounting and advisory networks.
Michelle Bryan joins the firm from Wilson Wright, which merged with BKL, and brings a wealth of experience from a varied tax background, in which she has advised both businesses. She focuses on owner-managed businesses – and individuals on a wide range of matters.
Natasha Scott, tax partner at PKF Smith Cooper, commented, “I am delighted to have Michelle join the team; she brings a wealth of knowledge with her, which will be a great asset to the firm and our clients. I look forward to the positive impact she will have on our team.”
She has previously worked in a variety of firms holding similar positions. Most recently, she spent three years as a senior tax manager at Wilson Wrigth, and worked in the same role at FRP Advisory, RPG Crouch Chapman and Confluence Tax before that.
Her main areas of specialism include advising clients on corporate restructuring, enterprise investment schemes (EIS), employee incentivisation, global mobility tax matters and the tax residence positions of both individuals and companies.
On joining the firm, Bryan added, “I am pleased to be joining PKF Smith Cooper at such an exciting time for the Tax Advisory team. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality, pragmatic advice, and I am looking forward to contributing to that continued success and supporting the firm’s clients and help drive further growth within the team.”
