PKF Littlejohn strengthens logistics advisory team with Ian Jones
National accounting and consulting firm PKF Littlejohn has strengthened its Advisory business with the hire of Ian Jones.
Based out of the firm’s Manchester office, Ian Jones brings 30+ years of experience in leadership, advisory and entrepreneurship to the firm, with a focus on the transport and logistics domain.
Jones co-founded leading legal advisory practice Backhouse Jones in 2000, focusing on advising operators within the haulage sector. Earlier in his career, he held roles in industry and advisory. He began his career as a solicitor.
Jones has held several senior roles at industry bodies for the commercial road transport sector, including serving as Vice-Chair of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers, Council Member and Chair of the Suppliers Committee at the Confederation of Passenger Transport, and member of the All-Party Parliamentary Road Passenger Transport Group.
Now at PKF Littlejohn, Jones will be responsible for developing and building relationships with organisations within the sector. “I’ll be meeting with key industry stakeholders to better understand their concerns and to help them prepare for the next 12 months and beyond. I’m excited to get started, meeting companies across the country and helping clients reduce friction, assist with growth, and capture value.”
