Global revenues of Baker Tilly jump by 21% to $6.8 billion
After a year of consistent expansion, Baker Tilly International has announced record global revenues. Having grown its accounting and advisory network, it enjoyed fees of US$6.8 billion for the year ending 31 December 2025.
Baker Tilly International is a consulting and public accounting firm, headquartered in London. With member firms spread across 700 offices, and 145 territories. This makes its combined network the ninth largest professional services network in the world.
The firm saw a boom in demand over the last 12 months, reporting 21.3% growth in revenues on the previous year. This was led by the expansion of its network – which has grown almost 70% in the last five years, even amid the significant volatility international markets have seen over that period.
Francesca Lagerberg, CEO of Baker Tilly International, said, “Organic and inorganic growth in revenues across all our regions is a remarkable achievement given the challenges faced by the professional services market over these past 12 months. It has been a busy year for the accounting profession and it has been no different for our network, with a number of private equity investments in 2025 and many exciting mergers. We value the combination of organic and inorganic growth.”
Breaking that performance down, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Malaysia, the UK and the US were among the larger individual markets to record more than 10% growth in 2025. Regionally, meanwhile, North America was the fastest-growing, at 37.5%, underpinned by the merger of Baker Tilly’s US member, and Moss Adams in June. EMEA also saw double-digit growth in spite of a slowdown in the wider consulting market, followed by Latin America at 7%, and Asia Pacific – which saw the slimmest expansion of 0.3%.
All the network’s service lines saw significant growth. Of its major service lines, tax grew by 31%, followed by audit and assurance at 19%, and legal services at 15%. While consulting revenues for other major firms were still flat, advisory still saw 16% growth across the Baker Tilly member firms. This helped to ensure that while other companies slimmed their headcount, the number of staff at Baker Tilly International rose by 16% to 50,443 people, including 3,905 partners across the network’s 147 territories. 27% of partners are female – a record high.
Looking ahead, Lagerberg concluded, “For Baker Tilly, 2026 promises to be another exciting year with more learning and experimentation into how we harness the power of technology to continue to give our clients the very best service. The war for the right talent continues as we all pursue the same pool of tech-savvy, tech-curious and multi-skilled new recruits. As a profession, we will have to adapt to what recruits want out of a career.”
