PM+M reports double-digit growth in turnover in last 12 months
Accounting and consulting firm PM+M has seen its turnover grow by 10% for the last financial year. The news comes as the firm continues to invest in its talent – at a time when larger industry players are cutting back on the costs associated with talent.
Founded in 1919, PM+M is one of the North West’s oldest accounting, business advisory and financial planning firms. In the more than 100 years since its launch, the firm’s specialists have provided advice to both businesses and individuals covering all areas of audit, accounting and advisory, cloud accounting, corporate finance, financial planning, tax and payroll.
The latest financial results reflect another successful year for PM+M as it continues to invest in its people, strengthen its client offering and support businesses and individuals across the North West region. In particular, it was underpinned by the firm’s strong performances across the financial planning audit and tax teams.
Helen Clayton, the firm’s managing partner, commented, “These results are testament to the hard work, commitment and expertise of our fantastic team, who continue to go above and beyond for our clients every day. I’d like to thank every one of them for the part they’ve played in achieving another year of sustainable growth.”
Spiking from £12.7 million to £13.9 million, the rise in turnover reinforces a policy which bucks industry trends. While the largest consulting firms in the UK have cut back on the costs of human labour – looking to shore up their bottom line, or promote new AI tools – PM+M is part of a growing cohort of midmarket consultancies which show another way is possible.
Clayton added, “I’d also like to thank our clients for the trust they continue to place in us. Building long-term relationships is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re proud to support so many ambitious businesses and individuals across the region. We’re equally grateful to the North West business community for its continued support and collaboration. Being part of such a vibrant and resilient business community is something we value enormously.”
