Nexer names Martin Burden as managing director of UK business

International technology consulting firm Nexer Enterprise Applications has appointed Martin Burden as managing director of its UK business. He is promoted from commercial director, as the firm looks to enter a new phase of growth.

Colin Crow, chairman and company secretary for Nexer Enterprise Applications in the UK, commented, “Martin’s appointment marks a natural next step for the UK business. His leadership will help us build on our foundations and respond to the evolving demands of our customers.”

Headquartered in Göteborg, Nexer is a tech company deeply rooted in the Swedish heritage of entrepreneurship and innovation, with a global presence and delivery. For over 30 years, the firm has offered services in strategy, technology and communication, with 12,000 employees in 18 countries – and partnering with platform providers including Microsoft, IBM, and Stibo.

Crow, who is the former managing director of the firm’s UK wing, will remain closely involved with Nexer. Alongside becoming chairman, he will take on a new global strategic role with the company, ensuring continuity for clients and teams. 

Burden assumes the position of UK managing director having spent several years as Nexer’s commercial director in Britain. In that capacity, he played a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy and supporting clients through complex transformation programmes.

With over 30 years’ experience in business applications and consultancy leadership, he brings deep expertise and a strong customer focus to the role. The change meanwhile reflects rising demand from UK organisations for clearer value, lower risk and more predictable outcomes from large-scale ERP, CRM and Power Platform programmes. According to Nexer, the leadership shift sharpens its focus on AI strategy, change management and cyber resilience.
