Efficio promotes Melaye Ras-Work and Toby Munyard to executive team

Melaye Ras-Work and Toby Munyard have been appointed co-CEO and CCO with Efficio respectively. According to the firm, the news reflects Efficio’s commitment to “deliver on its ambition to double the size of the business within the next four years.”

“Efficio’s vision is to consolidate its position as the recognised leader in procurement consulting worldwide, with an ambitious plan to double in size. We will achieve this by consistently delivering premium results and supporting clients’ procurement teams to become twice as effective by embedding new delivery models powered by AI and enabling technologies. Melaye and Toby bring deep expertise, strategic vision, and a passion for delivering results that will enable us to achieve our ambitious goals,” added Jens Pedersen, co-CEO at Efficio.

As Co-CEO alongside Pedersen, Ras-Work will share executive responsibility for realising Efficio’s vision: redefining the procurement consulting market by delivering increased, accelerated, and sustainable value for clients, powered by innovation, technology, and measurable outcomes. A founder of Efficio in 2000, she was previously also a manager with Kearney.

Ras-Work commented, “Efficio’s success has always been built on a highly international, collaborative culture and a relentless focus on delivering results for our clients. As we execute our growth strategy, these values remain central. Our expanded leadership team will ensure we maintain our unique culture while scaling globally.”

Meanwhile, in his new role as CCO, Munyard will lead Efficio’s commercial strategy and further expand the firm’s footprint across key sectors and regions. He takes on the role after 20 years with the firm, having first joined Efficio from PwC in 2005.

“We are entering a new chapter for Efficio, defined by our relentless focus on client outcomes, harnessing the power of AI to drive next generation procurement and our commitment to building the strongest team in the market” Munyard noted.

Since 2000, Efficio has worked as a UK-headquartered procurement and supply chain consultancy, which also has offices across Europe, North America and the Middle East. As a global procurement consultancy, Efficio supports hundreds of clients each year on a multitude of topics whether to generate hard benefits, mitigate supply market risk, or to streamline and automate processes.

Looking ahead, Efficio’s growth strategy will also centre on continuing its global expansion to support clients across sectors and regions. Its recent successful expansion into Asia reflects this commitment and will be followed by further geographic expansion.
