PKF Smith Cooper welcomes four new experts to central team
PKF Smith Cooper has welcomed four new members to its central team as the firm introduces exciting new roles, expanding the capacity of its central operations. Tara Adams, Francesca McKernan, Zoe Cooper and Grace Downing arrive as the firm looks to demonstrate its “commitment to investing in the people and processes that enable our team members, clients, and the wider firm to thrive”.
Selma Delic, operations partner at PKF Smith Cooper, continued, “Tara, Zoe, Francesca and Grace all bring invaluable knowledge and experience to the firm, and we are thrilled to have them on board.”
Tara Adams returns to PKF Smith Cooper, having previously spent almost nine years in the business services team. Having left to become a senior management accountant at Littlefish, she re-joins three years later, in the central team. Her current role as digital transformation project lead will act as a bridge between IT and the firm’s various service lines, and she will support the adoption and integration of new systems across the firm.
Francesca McKernan also joins the central team, joining as a business development coordinator. She will be supporting and driving business development initiatives across all offices and working closely with senior management to identify growth opportunities. She began her career at a PR agency before moving in-house to a residential surveying firm – and spent the last three years with SDL Surveying, where she was a partnerships and events manager.
Zoe Cooper joins as people manager in PKF Smith Cooper’s people team. After working in HR for over eight years, she brings a fresh perspective from the manufacturing sector to the firm, arriving from Pentaxia, where she spent the last three years as a human resources manager.
Grace Downing meanwhile joins the firm’s marketing wing, as assistant digital marketing manager. Downing brings a wealth of experience to the marketing team, spanning across digital strategy, social media management, public relations, CRM and creative production. She spent the last two years as an account manager with Cogent.
With operations in Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Ashbourne, PKF Smith Cooper is the Midlands-based business of PKF, which is one of the world’s largest accounting and advisory networks. Founded in 1985, PKF Smith Cooper has grown from a small local practice operating out of Ashbourne, Buxton, Mansfield, and Burton, to one of the region’s largest accountancy firms, boasting a total of seven offices – with almost 400 staff.
