Neil Shaw joins PKF Littlejohn as corporate and capital markets partner
PKF Littlejohn has appointed Neil Shaw as a partner in its Leeds office. Serving in the firm’s corporate and capital markets team, his arrival demonstrates “significant investments” in PKF Littlejohn’s operations in the North, according to Dominic Roberts.
The managing partner of PKF Littlejohn added, “We want the region’s best people to join us as we continue to expand our presence here – Neil’s appointment sends that message very clearly and also bolsters our regional leadership yet further.”
With over 1,450 UK partners and staff, PKF Littlejohn is an active member of PKF Global, an international network of legally independent accounting firms that gives us an on the ground presence in 150 countries around the world. In September, PKF Littlejohn announced the opening of a new, fully refurbished office location in Leeds – amid heightened demand for its restructuring offering.
Neil Shaw will now play a key role in helping the firm to continue to grow its presence in the Yorkshire region, following a number of recent hires and a move to new city-centre offices.
Commenting on the appointment, Shaw noted via a LinkedIn post, “I’m really pleased to share that I have joined the partnership at PKF Littlejohn... After enjoying a great break over the summer I’ll be focussing on developing our work across Yorkshire and the North, looking to support ambitious businesses across a range of sectors and industries. PKF has a great reputation for combining strong technical expertise with a personal, down-to-earth approach – values which align strongly with my own.”
Shaw trained as an engineer and worked for engineering consultancy Aruo, with a focus on renewables and energy transition, before becoming an auditor with a Big Four firm. Over 12 years at Deloitte, he became a director providing highly technical audit services, working with large and complex clients across a range of industries including renewable energy, technology and manufacturing. He has particular expertise auditing listed businesses and private equity backed organisations.
Roberts concluded, “Neil brings a unique skillset to PKF Littlejohn. With his engineering background, exceptional technical skills and strong people focus, Neil is ideally placed to help businesses in many key sectors.”
