Bishop Fleming promotes four company members to partner

Professional services firm Bishop Fleming has made four partner promotions, lifting the size of its partnership to over 40.

Christian Crawford, Richard Newton and Chris Trantham have each been promoted to partner in Bishop Fleming’s Audit division, while Ben Herbert has been promoted to partner in the Tax practice. 

Each has progressed their career at the firm over a number of years, in particular Herbert (who joined in 2005 as a trainee) and Trantham (who joined in 2009). Newton and Crawford joined the accounting and consulting firm in 2013 and 2018 respectively.

Christian, who is head of the firm’s hospitality and leisure sector, also has ambitions to expand the firm’s offering to owner-managed businesses, with a particular interest in environmental and ESG issues.”

Bishop Fleming’s latest leadership promotions underscore the firm’s growth, following yet another year of double-digit revenue gains. The firm now has 43 partners – they lead a team of over 500 staff across 9 offices spanning from the West Midlands to the South West. At the end of its current financial year, Bishop Fleming aims to break through the £50 million revenue barrier.
