Farsight Consulting acquired by IT services group Version 1
Farsight Consulting, an advisory firm specialised in the delivery of digital transformation projects across the public sector, has been acquired by Version 1.
The deal between the two companies builds on a longstanding relationship – over the years, they have worked together on several large-scale government projects at central and local government local.
Founded in 2010, Farsight Consulting has a proven track record in the criminal justice, education and skills sectors, where it helps clients such as the Department for Education, Education and Skills Funding Agency, Ministry of Justice and UK Export Finance with designing and building digital services. The firm has around 130 staff.
With over 3,200 people across 4 continents, Version 1 is one of the larger digital and IT companies. The Ireland-headquartered company has grown strongly over the past years in the UK market, with Farsight Consulting now adding around €20 million in revenue to its footprint.

Terms and conditions of the deal have not been disclosed.
