Rimkus appoints Sean Gaynham as Director of Quantum practice for EMEA

Professional services firm Rimkus has appointed Sean Gaynham as director of quantum expert services across the EMEA region. He brings more than two decades of experience to the firm.

Based out of London, Sean Gaynham will lead the Quantum Expert business, which provides corporations, insurance companies, law firms, and government agencies with expertise in arbitration, litigation, and other alternative dispute resolution services. He oversees team working from 7 offices in the EMEA region.

A chartered quantity surveyor with 24 years of experience, Gaynham has supported clients on multi-million-pound disputes across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and South America. His work spans numerous sectors, including residential, mixed-use, hotel, health, energy, oil and gas, and heavy civil engineering.

Gaynham has acted as a quantum expert in international arbitrations under ICC and QICCA rules. His expertise includes claims preparation, variation valuation, loss and expense assessments, extension of time support, and commercial strategy development.

Prior to joining Rimkus, Gaynham worked for White Consulting, a boutique dispute resolution consultancy in the Middle East. Before that, he among worked at FTI Consulting and held senior roles in the construction industry.
