Campbell Tickell appoints new director of recruitment
Campbell Tickell has announced the promotion of Gemma Prescot to the post of director of recruitment. She has taken on the role from the start of November 2024.
Speaking on her promotion, Gemma Prescot commented, “I’m really pleased to take on my next role within a business with strongly-held values and a desire for doing great work for its clients. I’m really looking forward to the opportunities which now lie ahead – to help strengthen Campbell Tickell’s interim, permanent and non-executive recruitment offer to clients.”
The new post will oversee Campbell Tickell’s recruitment services and team, including permanent, interim, and non-executive recruitment. According to the firm, this is an area of business which has seen “significant growth” in demand recently.
Having worked in the recruitment industry for over 15 years, Prescot has extensive experience in many sectors, including local government, housing, education, health, private sector and charities.
Prescot joined Campbell Tickell in 2016, initially arriving as head of interim recruitment. Since then, she has been responsible for creating and embedding Campbell Tickell’s interim recruitment offer, placing interims into a multitude of senior and leadership roles. She has also played a key role in building the firm’s recruitment team, and contributed to the company’s human resources and organisational development consultancy services.
Gera Patel, a partner at Campbell Tickell, added, “Gemma has made a significant contribution to CT’s growth in our recruitment services and her promotion to Director recognises her all-round capabilities. I have great confidence in the collective senior management team within our Recruitment Team and am excited to continue building our offer to meet the changing needs and demands of our clients as we continue to grow.”
