Alba Partners deepens data analytics capabilities with ActiveViam partnership
Transformation consultancy Alba Partners has announced a new partnership with ActiveViam. The move will enable ActiveViam to build its network of clients in the EMEA region, which Alba Partners will be able to enhance its offering for data analytics.
Launched in 2005, ActiveViam is a data analytics firm which looks to help financial institutions across trading desks, risk, and compliance tackle major data issues. In particular, the firm supports the use of high-performance analytics in finance, helping the largest investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds make better decisions, explain results with confidence, and simulate the impact of their decisions.
As Scottish consulting firm Alba Partners looks to supercharge its own data consulting offering, it has announced a new partnership with ActiveViam. The collaboration aligns with Alba Partners’ commitment to deliver market-leading solutions to its clients.

Founded in 2020 by Scottish siblings Richard and Carol Jacobs, Alba Partners is a boutique consultancy based in the UK. Working in a niche of offering “Big Four quality consulting” priced for mid-market and smaller clients, it has won various projects across Britain’s financial services sector – and also established a growing hub in the UAE, and extending into Saudi Arabia.
The alliance will also open up new opportunities to ActiveViam. According to a release from the firm on LinkedIn, Alba Partners will now help open up new relationships across large sell-side and buy-side institutions in the EMEA region, with a strong network at the senior level within capital markets and their deep industry knowledge.
The statement added, “Alba Partners brings a wealth of expertise in risk management and a proven track record of success in navigating major industry developments such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, and Basel III.”
