Crowe UK hires John Manis as partner
John Manis has joined Crowe UK as a new partner. He arrives in the firm’s workforce advisory team in London, and brings more than 15 years of experience to the role.
Speaking on the news, the new partner noted, “I’m so pleased to be joining Crowe and look forward to helping in the continued growth of Crowe’s workforce advisory practice, building on the stellar work done already by Dinesh and the rest of the team.”
Part of a global network with over 200 independent firms in more than 145 countries, Crowe UK is an accountancy firm offering audit, tax, and advisory services. Its workforce advisory team helps clients across the country navigate the complexities of the UK’s human resources market – and Manis joins at a time of great change, with the new government having announced new tax treatment policies for carried interest while further changes to capital gains tax are reportedly under consideration.
Manis joins Crowe’s workforce advisory team with over 15 years’ experience, and will further strengthen the practice with his depth of experience working with employee share schemes, employee ownership trusts, and advising management teams regarding M&A. He specialises in providing tax and executive incentivisation advice, with particular expertise in the taxation of investment funds, including carried interest and co-investment.
Dinesh Jangra, a fellow partner in the workforce advisory team at Crowe, commented, "John’s arrival comes at an exciting time for our Workforce Advisory team. His depth of knowledge and experience will enhance our national workforce advisory capability for employers, as well as our advisory capability in a number of other key areas and markets.”
Crowe has spent the summer strengthening its offerings on all fronts. As well as a number of senior hires, this also saw it acquire accounting firm Dendy Neville. The move expanded Crowe’s presence in Kent, with the purchase welcoming three new partners as part of the move.
