In 2021, Peel joined deals advisory Zeus, initially as an assistant director before being promoted to director in investment banking in 2016. In that role, he was responsible for executing complex M&A transactions covering a range of sectors and transaction types.

His hiring at PwC is the latest in a series of investments into the firm’s deals practice. Lucy Stapleton, UK head of deals at PwC, added, “I’m delighted to welcome Jamie to our Deals team. His appointment further reinforces our market leading position as a result of our continued investment in our lead advisory practice, an integral part of our multidisciplinary deals business, where we deliver deep sector expertise, particularly across the regions.”

Peel will be based in PwC’s Manchester office. PwC has been present in Manchester for 80 years and employs over 1,300 staff there. The firm also recently added to that team with the appointment of Sarah O’Toole as a partner.
