Pino Vallejo named new CEO of Consulting at Davies
Davies has promoted Pino Vallejo to CEO of its management and technology consulting business. Vallejo will continue the transformation of the division, which Davies acquired three years ago.
Professional services and technology company Davies acquired financial services consultancy Sionic in 2021. The deal enabled Davies to diversify and broaden its consultancy offering and expertise – which now spans 15 countries, and a team of over 8,000 professionals.
Sionic rebranded as Davies last year, and now trades under Consulting at Davies.
Consulting at Davies delivers professional services and technology solutions across the risk and insurance value chain, including excellence in claims, underwriting, digital transformation and change management. Pino Vallejo – who has been with Davies since 2015 – will continue to build on this transformation.
On his appointment, Vallejo remarked, “I’m very excited to have been named as the CEO of a very talented group of professionals. The offering we have built over the years in the consulting space and now under the Davies banner is impressive, and I believe that our best days are still ahead of us.”
Vallejo has over 30 years of senior executive leadership experience in financial services, eight of which have been spent within Davies’ banking and markets team. His multidisciplinary background spans finance, operations, international business, and regulatory environments. Pino also oversaw the opening of the firm’s first office in Madrid (Spain), as Davies continues to expand its operations to new markets and geographies.
One way in which Consulting at Davies is already changing under his leadership, is that it will now form part of Davies’ Global Solutions division. That also incorporates the firm’s SaaS technology suite and insurance services and forensic accounting businesses, led by Global Solutions CEO Mark Grocott.
