Altran buys consulting firm Alpha Three Consulting

22 June 2012 Consultancy.uk

Altran has purchased the American consulting firm Alpha Three Consulting early June. Alpha Three Consulting provides professional consulting and project engineering services to large governmental organisations in the United States. Approximately 10 consultants across offices in Pennsylvania and New Jersey will merge into the Altran organisation. As a result of the acquisition of the consulting firm, Altran now has 300 consultants across 7 offices in the US.

Alpha Three Consulting was founded in January 2007 by Mark Sanders and has since grown to a niche engineering services supplier in the energy, utilities and construction sectors. Altran and Alpha Three Consulting were no strangers; the companies have frequently worked together in the past years: “Alpha Three has for years been a strategic sub-supplier to Altran and we are excited to have them become part of the Altran family”, said Tom Foley, CEO Altran North America.
