Maarten van Hasselt leads Celerant's oil and gas branche

The Dutch Maarten van Hasselt has been nominated head of the worldwide energy practice and regional lead of North and South America. Maarten van Hasselt has over 20 years of managing experience in the oil and gas industry at, amongst others, Genereal Electric, Shell and Repsol.

Maarten was previously Director of Global Partnerships with Genereal Electric Oil & Gas, where he was responsible for long term relationships with oil and gas companies. Before joining GE, he worked in multiple roles during an extensive international career with Royal Dutch Shell and Repsol. Additionally, during his career Maarten also served as a partner in an international consultancy firm. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Technical University Delft and an MBA from Erasmus/Wharton.
