Paul McKeown joins Moore Kingston Smith as valuations head

Moore Kingston Smith, a leading multi-disciplinary professional advisory firm, further expands its solutions for clients with the appointment of Paul McKeown as Head of Valuations.

The London wing of Moore in the UK, Moore Kingston Smith boasts over 70 partners and more than 700 people based in and around the capital city. Moore Kingston Smith is currently celebrating a milestone 100 years in business, but as it looks ahead to its second century, the firm has committed to a major expansion to grow its capabilities. Earlier in the year, the firm took on private equity funding from Waterland, to fund new expansions across its operations.

Paul McKeown joins Moore Kingston Smith as valuations head

As Moore Kingston Smith looks to continue on this rapid growth track, McKeown will bring more than three decades of valuations experience to the firm. As head of valuations, he will spearhead and formally launch the firm’s service offering for clients, complementing the existing team of experts who advise on transactions across a range of sectors.

With expertise covering all aspects of valuations, McKeown specialises in navigating complex business and share structures for commercial, accounting, regulatory, litigation and tax purposes. Throughout his career, he has provided invaluable advice on thousands of valuations, involving unquoted shares, businesses, intellectual property, deferred consideration, financial instruments, options and loan notes, showcasing his ability across a myriad of market sectors. Most recently this saw him serve as a director at BDO, where he was the firm’s head of valuations in the Midlands and the North of England.
