H&Z expands presence in UK with London office
The arrival of a new team of procurement professionals has enabled H&Z Management Consulting to launch its first dedicated office in the UK. The move was made possible by the arrival of Procura Consulting’s nine-person UK procurement team.
Founded in 1997, H&Z Management Consulting has since implemented over 3,500 successful projects to clients across Europe. With over 600 consultants, working from 14 offices, the firm specialises in strategy, performance, procurement, transformation and sustainability services. It has hubs in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, France, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the US – and now, the UK.
As part of its international growth strategy, H&Z has acquired the UK procurement consulting team of Procura Consulting, adding expertise, knowledge and experience from UK and US procurement cost reduction, transformation and sustainability projects. The move has enabled H&Z to open its first dedicated London office.
H&Z Managing Partner Harald Enz commented, “I am delighted to welcome the team from Procura, to add to our growing UK consulting team. This is a strategic pivot point for our business as we expand both our global footprint and deepen the procurement expertise we offer to clients.”
By launching its own London office, H&Z hopes to provide clients UK, European and international clients both on-the-ground support, and deep supply-market knowledge. The move also presents a base for the further expansion of H&Z’s services to clients, as they face economic challenges and disruption across their supply chains – making the ability to develop strong procurement strategies more important than ever before.
Enz added, “The opening of our London office and the addition of Richard McIntosh, Brendan McVeigh and Ben Kitchen to lead our UK procurement consulting services demonstrates our commitment to our multi-national clients as they rely on H&Z to transform their procurement organizations through cost optimisation, digitisation and sustainable procurement.”
The team of nine people also includes professionals Tim Murray, Lloyd Isgrove, Jay Saujani, Hannah Cutler, Megan Teagle and Evan Smith – with experience from over 200 projects between them in the manufacturing, industrials, healthcare, services, pharma and life sciences, retail, tech and financial services sectors. Their arrival enhances H&Z’s procurement capability in value creation, procurement transformation, digitalisation and sustainability.
Prior to the move, H&Z did have a UK presence by proxy. As part of The Transformation Alliance – a coalition of independent European consultancies, which partner to provide a global network of expertise and implementation capabilities – H&Z was supported by the four UK offices of Q5, in Leeds, Cardiff, Farnborough and London.
