UK wing of OC&C promotes two new partners
Global strategy advisory brand OC&C Strategy Consultants has strengthened its senior team in the UK with two new partners. Olivia May and Katy Fiander receive promotions as the business continues to nurture top-tier talent and deliver impact to clients.
Will Hayllar, OC&C Strategy Consultants’ Global Managing Partner, commented, “Each of the new partners confirmed today brings a wealth of experience and finely honed skills that are integral to providing trusted advice to our clients as well as fostering the environment that allows great people to flourish at OC&C, enabling others to follow in their footsteps. Making this step up is a recognition of having excelled across many dimensions. These promotions are a source of huge pride for the company.”
Katy Fiander becomes a Partner at OC&C’s London office, having spent 11 years with the firm. She has particularly made her mark in the leisure practice, in that time, providing measurable impact for clients, and expanding the scope of the sector team. OC&C notes that she brings a “highly effective analytical approach and has used this to great effect” to help the company build expertise in commercial optimisation, and deliver performance improvement in clients’ businesses.
Olivia May meanwhile has also been at OC&C for more than 10 years. May becomes a London-based partner, having proven herself as a model team leader, and shown her value to the wider development of the firm, according to a release from OC&C. Her contributions to the Apparel sub-sector have been pivotal in the growth of the firm globally in this area. She is also an accomplished strategic problem solver and has helped grow OC&C’s presence with corporate clients and private equity investors in an increasingly active space.
The appointments of Fiander and May coincide with two other partner promotions in OC&C’s Netherlands wing. In the Rotterdam office, Bob Chermin and Oleg Tschernizki will also focus on applying their sector expertise to drive growth in key markets. They will work across a number of key sectors including consumer goods, leisure, retail and technology.
Hayllar added, “We are particularly pleased that each of the partners promoted today originally joined OC&C as Associate Consultants and have chosen to build their careers with us. We look forward to seeing them continue their professional development and help us build OC&C together by providing trusted bespoke strategic advice to our clients around the world.”
