OC&C Strategy Consultants welcomes Tom Jackson as partner in TMT practice
Tom Jackson has been promoted by OC&C Consultants in its TMT wing. Joining as a partner, the move follows key developments in the sector, where clients are looking to use AI to change “how content is produced, packaged, and consumed.”
“TMT has been a natural home for me. I’ve always been a media and news junkie, but more importantly it’s a sector that has been evolving in response to continuous disruption and changing business models for decades,” explained Jackson. “AI is the latest fundamental shift, particularly in media where it has the potential to transform how content is produced, packaged and consumed. I’m looking forward to helping our clients make sense of those opportunities and turn them into meaningful commercial impact.”
Founded in 1987, OC&C Consultants is a global strategy consulting firm, supporting respected companies in analytics, B2B services, consumer goods, hospitality, private equity, and TMT. Jackson has been with OC&C since 2015, and has since become a vital part of that last practice.
A release from the firm explained that over the past 11 years, he has “played a pivotal role in growing key client relationships.” In recent years, this included developing particular expertise in education and live events, working closely with colleagues on both sides of the Atlantic to build OC&C’s capabilities and client relationships in these areas.
In his new role, Jackson will continue to build trusted relationships with CEOs and management teams. He will also remain equally committed to developing OC&C’s people and wider firm, “building strong relationships with teams and contributing to alumni engagement and learning initiatives”.
