Crowe hires Alex Hindson as Head of Sustainability

Professional services firm Crowe has bolstered its risk consulting team with the appointment of new Head of Sustainability, Alex Hindson. Based in London, the new Partner brings over three decades of experience to the role.

In the UK, Crowe has over 80 partners and a team of 900 professionals, who bring in revenues of over £100 million. It is an independent member of Crowe Global, a professional services network which provides audit, tax, advisory and risk services to clients around the world.

Hindson will be based in London, and will work with Crowe’s existing risk consulting team, helping clients across all sectors with their net zero transition, sustainability strategy development and implementation, risk and governance enhancement, data and scenario modelling plus reporting and disclosure requirements. He will also drive Crowe’s own sustainability programme.

The industry veteran joins Crowe from Argo Group, where he was Chief Risk and Sustainability Officer, a role in which Hindson pioneered industry-leading approaches to create sustainability strategies. With over 30 years of experience, he has also previously worked at AstraZeneca, Aon and Amlin, in a variety of risk management, consulting and governance roles.
