4C Associates appoints Jeremy Smith as Managing Director
Jeremy Smith has been appointed as a Managing Director of 4C Associates. He brings more than two decades of experience to the role.
“I’m proud to have been asked by Simon to take on the additional responsibility to drive this great business forward as a Managing Director,” commented Smith. “I’m looking forward to helping this team continue to grow and deliver tangible value across our 4C Public Sector, 4C Consumer and 4C Life Sciences practices.”
4C Associates is a procurement and supply chain services consultancy. Launched in 2000, it now works with clients in Europe, North America and Asia. The firm is based in London, while its team of over 100 consultants hail from over 20 countries, providing clients with benefits from global-focused perspectives.
“I first walked into the 4C Associates' office 11 years ago, meeting a team of enthusiastic and passionate people, many of whom still make 4C the unique workplace it is today. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure to watch this team and business evolve, including myself. I have great people with me on the journey ahead as we continue our ambitious growth plans and we are all dedicated to driving positive change for clients, people, communities, and the planet,” added Smith.
As Managing Director, Smith will head up 4C Associates alongside Gavin Bowen-Ashwin - appointed earlier in 2022 - Allison Ford-Langstaff, Mark Ellis, Nick Muir and David Walters. Simon Terry will now focus on leading the 4CP group of companies, while Smith focuses on the 4C Associates brand.
Terry noted, “4C Associates’ success and growth is fuelled by our people. That’s why I’m delighted to see Jeremy develop in his career during his time at 4C Associates and to step up to this role to lead the team”.
While he joined the firm in 2011, Smith brings nearly 20 years of experience in procurement with a focus on savings delivery, organisational assessment and change management. He previously worked in a variety of sectors where he managed teams to deliver major international savings projects, transforming organisations' approach to procurement through category management and SRM, developing operating models, capabilities, processes and systems.
