“I’m looking forward to continue the great work 4C have been doing to support clients to optimise and future-proof their supply chains, working with a great team of talented procurement and supply chain professionals”, said Bowen-Ashwin of his new role.

Covid-19 has reshaped the way many consumers behave, and this is turn is driving new behaviour and expectations towards brands. In particular, hospitality firms have been placed under acute pressure by the health implications of travel during the lingering pandemic. As many companies turn to the consulting industry for support in adapting to these changes, 4C Associates has promoted Bowen-Ashwin within its consumer wing.

4C’s leisure and hospitality teams provides an end-to-end approach to cost reduction – reviewing the entire cost to serve and identifying change opportunities to sustainably, and dramatically improve supply chain profitability, without deteriorating quality. Bowen-Ashwin leads these sectors, and has now been promoted to Managing Partner to lead 4C’s mission to support organisations across these sectors, while delivering maximum value from their supply chains.

Prior to joining 4C as a Director in 2018, Bowen-Ashwin spent a decade with Big Four firm PwC. There, he was a Senior Manager, while earlier in his career he also was a Senior Consultant with Newpoint Consulting. He has led the transformation of FTSE 100 procurement functions and delivered savings from direct and indirect spend categories, taking an end-to-end value chain approach to reduce cost and improve margin. During his career he has worked with a diverse group of restaurant, QSR, hotel, and leisure operators.

Simon Terry, CEO of 4C Associates, stated, “Gavin’s promotion is well deserved, and I’m delighted for him to join the senior leadership team at a time of hyper growth where he will help us deliver even more value to our clients.”
