OC&C Strategy Consultants has confirmed the appointment of Martin Schwarzmann as a Partner in its London office. Working globally, Schwarzmann will bolster the advisory firm’s telecoms, media and technology and analytics offerings.

James Walker, Partner and Global Head of Analytics at OC&C Strategy Consultants, noted, “It’s great to have Martin on board. Martin’s going to have a big impact supporting our Tech clients with Growth Acceleration and our Media clients with navigating a Post-Cookie world. He has a true aptitude for solving Marketing Analytics challenges using advanced Data Analysis – and will bring a lot of value to our Digital Native clients maximising Marketing Effectiveness.”

As a Partner at the intersection of Analytics and TMT, Martin will look to further incorporate Data and Analytics into the TMT sector team’s work and seek to help clients leverage the full potential of these capabilities. OC&C’s analytics team is currently looking to build support for software firms, as they aim for growth. Walker will aid this by helping better use customer data, and showing media owners how to navigate ad sales, while assisting digital natives to improve their marketing effectiveness.

According to Schwarzmann, analytics techniques and supporting infrastructure have matured drastically in recent years, leaving clients with more organised data than ever before. This presents opportunities for strategy and analytics professionals to show clients how to establish and test hypotheses, and build shareholder value.

Schwarzmann joins from marketing platform Epsilon within Publicis Groupe, where he was SVP of Client Solutions. Previously, he also spent time with Accenture and Strategy&, where his career spanned digital analytics, e-commerce, and strategy consulting experience. In that time, he worked with some of the world’s largest advertisers including P&G, Nestle, GSK, Lloyds, ABInBev and FCA/Stellantis to maximise marketing effectiveness using digital analytics.
